Competitive Team
(levels 3-10)
Chicago Rhythmics’ competitive team training program is optional - for gymnasts who would like to participate in USAG sanctioned events and competitions. Gymnasts can transition to the Chicago Rhythmics Team by a coach’s recommendation based on the gymnasts age, skills, discipline, parents’ and gymnast’s commitment.
Classical Ballet
for Rhythmic Gymnastics
(ages 6+)
Class for girls ages 6+ years. Ballet is a very important discipline for the competitive rhythmic gymnast, as it is the perfect way to improve posture, balance, pirouettes, turn out, flexibility, building ankle strength and correct foot articulation, developing efficient jumping technique, and improving lower body strength. By taking ballet classes, gymnasts are also improving both their movement fluidity and musicality. Chicago Rhythmics’ ballet training system is based on the Agrippina Vaganova Technique, a Russian classical ballet style.
